The pickleball court playing hours remain 9:00am to 8:00pm. The installation of the sound dampening curtain was completed on November 12, 2021 and reduces the pickleball court noise heard by Bridgeport Lane homeowners. The board will review the starting time at the January 25, 2022 board meeting to decide if the starting time can be earlier.

 

Pickleball players using the courts can help reduce noise from contact between the pickleball and the paddle by using a “green-rated” paddle that generates less noise when hitting the ball. The Operating Rules page has been updated with a link to a list of green-rated paddles. Please consider purchasing one of these paddles if you play regularly on the Whalers’ Island courts.
