Whalers' Island residents have access to the Bridgeport pool and court area, the Dewey pool area and the Boat Park. The Bridgeport area is near the intersection of Farragut Boulevard and Bridgeport Lane across from Farragut Park. The Dewey pool area is near the Dewey Drive traffic circle as you drive onto the Island. The Boat Park is for the storage and launching of resident’s small, portable boats, such as kayaks, canoes, stand-up paddleboards and small sailboats. The boat park is along side Farragut Boulevard between Mystic Lane and Dover Lane.
Bridgeport pool and court area
This area has a small parking lot. The Bridgeport pool and court area includes a large pool for recreation and lap swimming, a wading pool for children and a heated Jacuzzi. There are two tennis courts and two pickleball courts that are lighted for night time use. There is a small basketball court with glass backboards at both ends. There is a Picnic/BBQ area that residents may reserve for parties and events.
